Wandering
A TRANSFORMATIONAL TREK THROUGH NEPAL
Walk ancient Himalayan trails while exploring timeless Buddhist teachings through meditation, contemplation, and direct experience.

Wandering: A Transformational Trek Through Sacred Nepal
A retreat to open our hearts, challenge our bodies, and expand our view.
The Chronic Message:
Stay focused, stick with it, and know where you're going.

The Inner Feeling:
When our lives wander, or when things feels uncertain, we often assume something has gone wrong, or worse, that something is wrong with us.

This retreat begins with a different view. Wandering from the expected path isn’t a problem.. Rather, it can become a way of connecting more deeply with our own lives.

For centuries, yogis and Buddhist practitioners wandered through the Himalayas, allowing the outer journey to support an inner one. They walked, rested, contemplated, and looked into experience, instead of just at it. Rather than forcing life to look a particular way, they created the conditions for transformation to arise naturally.

Over twelve days, we’ll practice wandering in this way together.

We’ll trek through the sacred hills of Nepal, pausing to restore our bodies, notice the world around us, and look deeply into our own experience. We’ll allow movement, silence, conversation, and meditation to help what arises settle in its own time.

Along the way, we’ll visit monasteries, Buddhist villages, and sacred places where Dharma is woven into ordinary life.

Throughout the journey, I’ll share the Buddhist view as it has been passed to me by my teachers, including Mingyur Rinpoche and Tsoknyi Rinpoche. Together, we’ll explore these teachings through meditation, contemplation, and direct experience, learning how to bring them home into the ordinary moments of our own lives.

A personal invitation from Sarah...
Meet Your Retreat Leader
Sarah Sati
For more than twenty years, I've been sharing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness while continuing to deepen my own practice. I hold a master's degree in psychological science, and my teaching has been shaped by years of study with Mingyur Rinpoche, Tsoknyi Rinpoche, and other Buddhist teachers, as well as time spent practicing in Nepal.

The heart of this retreat is drawn from the topics of awareness, love and compassion, and wisdom, as taught to be by Global Thought Leader and Meditation Master, Mingyur Rinpoche. We will explore these topics through meditation, contemplation, conversation, gentle movement, and the experience of walking through the Himalayas.

My hope is to create a space where you can slow down, become more present with your experience, and discover how these teachings can support you long after you return home. It is a privilege to share what my teachers have so generously shared with me.
