The Shack Audio Book Free 13 REPACK

"Unvarnished. Funny. Leaving no stone unturned"...So say the publishers about this audiobook I've written. What I say is that this is the story of my life, told as clear as a Texas sky and in the same rhythm that I lived it. It's a story of restlessness and the purity of the moment and living right. Of my childhood in Abbott, Texas, to the Pacific Northwest, from Nashville to Hawaii, and all the way back again. Of selling vacuum cleaners and encyclopedias while hosting radio shows and writing song after song, hoping to strike gold.

Great article. The issue of audio quality os very much a hot topic in our team. Thankfully we have a semi-pro musician on our staff and she has introduced us to a piece of softare called protools. This is free with an external device (a fancy sound card) called a Digibox. Coupled with a good quality Shure microphone our audio quality is improving. One tip I think is worth sharing is to:

Young initially printed just 15 copies of his book. Two of his close friends encouraged him to have it published, and assisted with some editing and rewriting in order to prepare the manuscript for publication. After rejection by 26 publishers, Young and his friends published the book under the name of their newly created publishing company, Windblown Media, in 2007. The company spent only C$200 in advertising;[3] word-of-mouth referrals eventually drove the book to number one on the New York Times trade paperback fiction best-seller list in June 2008.[4][5] "The Shack" was the top-selling fiction and audio book of 2008 in America through November 30.[6]
