In the fast lane of modern life, our bodies become rigid, locked in tension, and our minds follow—becoming stuck in familiar patterns, resisting change, and losing flexibility. When we’re constantly 'on,' chasing tasks and being excessively future focussed, we also miss the deep connection with the present moment and between body and mind. This results in increasingly more dissatisfaction and dis-ease.
But what if unlocking your mind’s potential starts by loosening your body?

When your body remains tense, stuck in repetitive patterns of movement—or worse, in no movement at all—your mind becomes often just as rigid. The physical tension that builds up in your (connective) tissues from constant stress, sedentary living, and an 'always-on achieving/enhancing mentality' compromises your mental flexibility, clarity and contentment. You become trapped in a loop of restlessness, fatigue, and discontentment.

At this 7 day 'Back to Essence: A Full Immersion' retreat, we guide you to release the body through fluid, mindful movement practices that awaken energy and deepen awareness. As you unlock new pathways in your body, you will also unlock new possibilities in your mind.
Yet at the same time, you will be exploring an array of meditative/contemplative practices inspired by (Tibetan) Buddhism that directly work with the mind and its tendencies. This immersion invites you to explore your body’s wisdom, tuning into the subtleties of movement, breath, and stillness to cultivate a deeper connection to yourself and everything around you.

Through this process, you'll experience more ease, more presence, and more freedom in both body and mind.
You will step away with a more supple, loose body and a mind free to embrace change, challenge, and (out)growth—moving with the rhythm of life, rather than against it.

Meet the retreat hosts
Niko Sati Nikolic
Health Scientist, Sustainable Performance coach and Movement teacher. Niko has over 15 years of experience coaching/training entrepreneurs, high performers, professional teams and public experiences/retreats. He holds a master of science degree from Maastricht University. His areas of expertise are preventive lifestyle medicine, vitality and multidimensional movement education. He truly lives what he teaches.

Sarah Sati
Sarah Sati, M.A. is a self transformation expert, author, and the creator of Mindful Island. She holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology, where she spent her academic life researching the benefits of mindfulness based techniques on cognition and emotions. With two decades of deep work in the fields of wellness, psychology, mindfulness, meditation, and individual and group transformation, Sarah uses her knowledge and experience to support the growth of individuals and organizations who are ready to deepen their connection to self and step into a more joyful life experience

WHO: 8-14 human-beings (orientation age 30-60 y/o, preferably no major health restrictions)
INVESTMENT (exclusive invite only rate valid through December 14th ):
Private single room + everything else: $1849 (1 person)
Private double room + everything else: $1499 per person (couple or friends). Rate for one time payment, 2 instalments +10%.

Daily movement & breath practices to deepen bodymind connection and reset biomechanics (gentle morning yoga/qi gong inspired, myofascial releases, targeted mobility reset patterns for specific areas, breath contrast work, flow ground movement and more. Intelligently structured and scalable.

Daily meditation practices (morning guided meditation + several stillness breaks throughout day)

Daily masterclass related to key concepts/pillars in our healthx1 framework (Breath, meditation/mindfulness, movement medicine, vital nutrition, relaxation, bioritme etc.

3 nourishing meals per day. Each meal intentionally high in essential nutrients & mindful eating practices. Mostly vegetarian and fish. Fasting from all other foods highly recommended as practice.
